This year's powwow will be in honor of our
Chief Larry "Medicine Cat" Smack who took
his journey on September 29, 2013.
Help us celebrate his life on our Mother Earth with Native dance, drums, food, stories and special appearance by the 2004 Indian Summer Music Awards nominee, the winner of the 2005 and 2006 Silver Arrow Award and five time Washington Area Music Awards nominated; singer/songwriter Georgie Jessup.
Come and enjoy our many talented vendors of Native
crafts, jewelry, music and traditional items. Make
sure to bring your chairs and/or blankets.
